Public transport
MPK Lublin runs buses and trolleybuses; a single is about 4 zł, bought on board (machines take cards), in an app or at a kiosk, and validated as you get on. The Old Town, Krakowskie Przedmieście and the castle are all walkable, and the stadium is 25 minutes on foot from the centre. Bolt and Uber are cheap at 15–25 zł a ride. The railway station is south of the Old Town, about 20 minutes' walk or a short bus ride, with trains to Warsaw taking around two and a quarter hours.

- Lublin Airport LUZ primary 10 km A rail shuttle runs from the terminal to Lublin Główny station in about 15 minutes, and buses cover the route too. A taxi is 40–60 zł. Small, with a handful of Wizz and Ryanair routes — cheap and extremely convenient when the schedule suits.
- Warsaw Chopin Airport WAW alternative 170 km Train or bus into Warsaw, then a PKP Intercity train to Lublin — around three hours door to door for 40–70 zł. The fallback with far more routes; the Warsaw–Lublin train is fast and comfortable, and worth booking in advance.

Home fans: Dynamo's support in Lublin is the Ukrainian community in Poland plus fans travelling from Ukraine, and it gathers around the Old Town and the approach to the Arena rather than at any traditional club pub. The Ukrainian-run cafés and bars around the centre are the natural meeting points.
Away fans: The Old Town square and Krakowskie Przedmieście are neutral, cheap and a 25-minute walk from the ground. Wearing your own club's colours is fine in town; treat the occasion with the respect it deserves.

Nightlife
The Old Town square and the streets around Grodzka and Złota carry the bars, with the long pedestrian Krakowskie Przedmieście running down to the newer part of town. It is a university city and the drinking is cheap and student-led; cellar bars under the Old Town buildings are a Lublin speciality. Perła, the local brewery, has been going since 1846 and its beer is on tap all over the city. Nothing is far apart and prices are refreshingly low after Warsaw.

The city's own thing is the cebularz — a flat wheat bun topped with onion and poppy seed, protected by EU designation and sold from bakeries and stalls for a couple of złoty. Beyond that, the Polish canon: pierogi, żurek, bigos, placki, and the milk bars that still serve it all at subsidised prices. Lublin has a good crop of modern restaurants around the Old Town for very reasonable money, plus Perła beer everywhere.
Cheap eats & beer
A milk bar lunch is 20–28 zł, a plate of pierogi 25–35 zł, a cebularz 3–5 zł. Beer runs 11–14 zł in the Old Town and 8–10 zł in the student bars, with supermarket cans at 4–5 zł. Public drinking is illegal in Poland and carries an on-the-spot fine. Prices across the board are 20–30% below Warsaw's, which is a good reason to stay here rather than commuting from the capital.
Staying safe
Lublin is a safe, easy-going city. On matchday the usual Polish rules apply: colours out of sight on public transport and around the station, passport and ticket for the turnstile ID check, and follow the police escort — Polish forces manage away support tightly and expect compliance. Two other notes. This is a border region and the Ukrainian frontier is 100 km east, so the city has a large Ukrainian population and a visible aid and refugee infrastructure — a Dynamo tie is an emotive occasion. And the Majdanek memorial, on the edge of the city, is an extermination camp preserved almost intact; it is free, sobering and not a sightseeing stop to take lightly.

The Arena Lublin, a 15,000-seat municipal ground on ulica Stadionowa, hosts Dynamo Kyiv's European home ties — so the 'home' club is 300 km away and the crowd is a mix of Ukrainian diaspora, refugees living in Poland and local Lublin support. Expect Ukrainian flags, a strong atmosphere and heavy security. Tickets go through Dynamo rather than a local club, and Polish segregation rules apply: away sector with its own gate and approach, thorough searches, ID checks, and only low-alcohol beer inside.
